A Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A., Inc.

Chartered by the United States Congress for all veterans of the armed forces wounded in armed combat against an enemy of the United States of America.

General George Washington instituted the Purple Heart on August 7, 1782, at Newburgh-on-the-Hudson in the state of New York.

(Any member or veteran of the armed forces of the United States who has been awarded the Purple Heart is eligible to join this organization. We meet at 7 p.m. the second monday of each month in the Floral Haven Family Center, 6420 S 129th E Ave.)
